Kylanne LCSW

Hope is
folding paper cranes
even when your hands get cramped
and your eyes tired,
working past blisters and
paper cuts,
simply because something in you
insists on
opening its wings.

About

Hi! I’m Kylanne. I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have over ten years of experience in the helping profession. I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds to help them manage and overcome difficult situations in their lives. I have worked in both the mental health and healthcare settings.

I believe we all need support sometimes untangling the messy parts of living this side of heaven and I consider it a privilege to meet you in your journey. I am dedicated to helping you find hope and healing along the way.

My approach to therapy could be described as client centered mixed with solution focused/cognitive behavioral techniques. This means we will work together to find solutions that bring peace to your life.

When I’m not working, I enjoy eating (and talking about eating) foods of all kinds, spending time with my husband and dog, and hanging out with high school students at Pekin Campus Life.

Services

I offer individual counseling sessions for both adolescents and adults.

Some concerns I’ve had experience helping others through include:

Depression

Anxiety

Grief and loss

Suicidal thoughts

Post abortive syndrome

Self harming behaviors

Stress management

Self esteem concerns

Insurance Coverage/Fees

I do work with the majority of insurance companies in Central Illinois including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Methodist First Choice, Caterpillar plans, Cigna, Health Alliance and even Illinois State University coverage. Each company and policy provides different benefits for covering mental health treatment and we can explore those together. If you do not see your insurance carrier listed here, please contact me and we can discuss further.

If your insurance does not have mental health treatment benefits, receiving mental health services is a qualified expense if you have a HSA (Healthcare Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account). I can provide you with a specialized receipt for your tax records. We can also discuss out of network coverage.

Payment is due at time of service. I accept cash, check and debit/credit cards. The charge for an initial 60 minutes intake appointment is $150 and additional follow up appointments are $100. I also provide sliding scale rates for those that qualify.
